Ocean Embassy is honored to teach a Professional Masters Course at the University of Miami's Rosenstiel School of Marine & Atmospheric Science (RSMAS).
This is the second year in a row Ocean Embassy has the privilege to teach the Marine Mammal Behavior Analysis and Managed Care class (MBF 507) for RSMAS as part of their Masters of Professional Science Curriculum.
This course looks at marine mammal behavior and animal learning as it applies to managed care, rescue, rehabilitation and wildlife management. The class is intended to introduce students to contemporary issues regarding modern care, rescue and rehabilitation, facility regulations, legislation, behavioral medicine, population management, animal learning principles and research aspects utilizing behavior analysis.
It has been a tremendous opportunity for Ocean Embassy's Partners to be involved with such a well respected University and have the opportunity to participate in educating young professionals at such a high level.
